Written and directed by Moeen Zarrabi, the film will hit the screen at the 42nd edition of the Belgian event on February 09.
‘Obituary’ tells the story of a young clergyman, who is forced to hold the funeral for her former beloved without prior notice. The girl’s family did not agree with their marriage because of the man’s life preferences.
Hadi Ahmadi, Mozhdeh Daee, Marieh Tehranchi, Pouya Aram, Ehsan Navadeh, Daryoush Qasemi and Mehrsana Farahani are the cast members of the flick.
Launched in 1974, the Brussels Independent Film Festival was originally devoted to highly experimental films; however, the event expanded to include more independent film genres.
This year’s edition of the event, slated for February 6-19, will also screen Iran’s ‘On Hire’ directed by Taymaz Rezvani.
